I like Hagelin a lot as a player because he hustles and always disrupts opposing D on the forecheck. However, does anyone else feel like hybrid icing has reduced his effectiveness? You used to see him use his wheels to negate icing all the time. When pressured in our own zone, Hags was always an up ice option down the left side. With the rule change, he's still a good player, but other players can't rely on sending the puck down ice for him to chase down.

Here is what makes me hate him, he is retiring and needs to move to another team.. He is the fat face of the NJ franchise and is a legend. I hate him but come on he is a HOF best there ever was and by far a great big game goalie and he is leaving on his own choice.

Brodeur is one of the best, not the best. Dryden, Roy, a few others were better then him.

I hate Brodeur as much as anyone - but he is arguably the best all-time, and to say he's not, is really just biased. He's definitely Top 5.

Can't move both by any means. Has to be one or the other. Remember, Richards is likely being bought out.


I will be enraged if JT Miller is moved. Kid is well on his way to becoming a hell of a player. He has the potential to be an ACTUAL point producing, offensive top 6 center which this team hasn't drafted in forever

That's what Vancouver would want, but that is awful trade for the Rangers.. absolutely awful.

Stepan is a non-starter, Miller too. I think someone is just trying to match a package that Vancouver is looking for.

Guy does a great job of drawing in visitors to his site, and asks some interesting questions, but smart he is not.
