So I heard we rejected the 6x6.3 can we trade this guy now instead of waiting around hoping he drops down to the still outrages 6x6 offer? Good thing the team doesn't have a game until after the deadline because this is frustrating.

Minny is a great team if they get good goaltending. Backstrom has declined (really declined, not just fan sentiment). Minny is an elite team with good goaltending.
Backstrom is like 5-15 or something, and the other goalies are well above .500.
Nashville is another team that needs goaltending.

Finally, very tradable in years 4-5-6-7 as he is paid

depending on the assets, that contract doesn't scare me.
Not for a deep playoff run no. They have Brodin and Suter out there for 30 min a night. Those two will get run every time they handle the puck, so they aren't going deep at all if those two wear down.
But they can def make it into the 2nd or 3rd round with a good goalie. They can do what LA can't and that is score with 3 lines, and play a fast game with great team defense.
With the playoff set up the way it is this year, one or two of CHI, STL, ANA, LA, and SJ will be out in the 1st round.
