Yea we could take JVR for the contracts. And I'll even throw in the #26.
...they'd need to dump more than just JVR...wonder if HuGo could talk them into Konecny??...

He was literally already traded one time. Your comment is outrageous…No team is going to pay the price to acquire Anderson.
Fair or not but players like him have an inflated worth because they're unique.
He ain't going anywhere
I dunno, but I love Nemec’s game. I’m not crazy about Guhle. I think he’s an NHLer for sure, but I don’t think there’s much offensive upside there.Look at his proposal, would you add Anderson and Calgary's first on top of Guhle? Guhle is already our top prospect, that's insanity
Detroit have already many rhd better than Petry.I read the thread and that's not quite what they were saying. What I read from Wings fans is that is what they would want for Petry. As in, Detroit's not a good fit.

Also eras can change again.Derian Hatcher was a beast in Dallas; so was Scott Stevens in New Jersey. Their offense was abysmal. I know eras have changed, but I don't think any era can ignore such great physical/leader/defensive pillars on the blueline―especially in the playoffs.
Think your only thinking of Late in his career Scott Stevens, His Washington and early NJ days he was quite the offensive beast. As he got older and the team needed him to play a more shutdown defenseman role his offence became really bad. He definitely did enforce a physical presence on the opposition and kept their heads on a swivel.Derian Hatcher was a beast in Dallas; so was Scott Stevens in New Jersey. Their offense was abysmal. Back in 2008 or so nobody was saying that the NHL was going to move away from intimidating stay at home d men that can clear the crease.
The pendulum can easily swing back. All it takes is a minor tweak to rules, how rules are applied, equipment, or the way a few teams coach.
Ah, When most non Devils fans talk about Stevens they portray him as a Goon/Headhunter when he was waaay more then that. The Closet thing to anyone like Scott Stevens now is Wilson I think and while many people hate him we all Wish we had him on our team. If the Habs draft or turn one of their prospects into that type of player then the Habs would be scary.I'm aware of Scott Stevens' offense in Washington, but his real legacy comes from his years in New Jersey where he won three Stanley Cups as a pure defensive defenseman. That's how his style was crystalized in the collective imagination.
McIlrath and Logan Stanley went in the first round. Same with Tinordi and Morin. Big defensemen always make scouts dream. Also eras can change again.

He needed a new contract...different circumstances .He was literally already traded one time. Your comment is outrageous…
The bright side with Dadonov is that hes garbage defensively like Drouin Anderson and Hoffman.
He's a great asset for the Bedard Race trust me.

Guhle is going to surprise a lot of people, I won’t be one of them because frankly I think he has top-pairing potential.Except Guhle can actually skate, like really, really well. He's a defensive beast because he can close on guys so quickly especially in the neutral zone and then just takes them out of the play taking the puck with him.
He's Romanov-like, but bigger, better with the puck, better in transition & better on the cycle.
He & Caufield aren't getting traded. It's ridiculous to think so. We'll be building around them.
Gallagher, 2nd, Xhekaj ?Anderson isn't an "impact NHL roster player"
