NO. They can use more picks but they can probably contend with what they have. It will take a couple of years for all the prospects they have now to contribute.
This team sucks, this season is over, they need top end talent badly. Team is garbage so yeah, they need a top pick badly.

FYI- all the prospect won’t make the habs and not all will be difference makers.

Absolute drivel. The team may need more players but it is far too early to know when they are the 2nd yougnest team in the league.

When your goalie is bad(as Monty was in the 3rd) it is not surprising young guys give up. Good teams lose big occasionally too.
If the young guys gave up then they should be gone. Good teams & good players don’t quit.

Good teams don’t get spanked 1/4 of the time. Really shitty ones do.

Nice attempt justifying guys quitting.

I don’t know what team you are watching, lol. They get spanked every 4 games, they can’t play a lick of defense, and they have mailed games in.

They have NS, CC, Slaf, PL, Guhle, Lane and Monty. The rest of the team is JUNK. They have one blue chip prospect Demidov, shot for giggles I will add DR and the rest who knows how long before they are ready, and if they even pan out.

They have holes everywhere. Yeah, they don’t need a top 5 pick, they are too good, LOL

First of all, we are worse in our zone this year. Secondly nobody can play freaking hockey on the right side! Nobody! Hell he would probably be Top 2 with us right now because of it. Not saying he's a great D, just that he was a calming presence out there. Plus we can never have enough of big hard working D men in the line-up(was a big reason why it worked so well in our cup run with Weber, Pretry, Chiarot, etc...). When we have many of these big guys, we become hard to play against. Numbers matters.
Kovy is not the difference maker you and other are making him out to be. He’s not Weber, Petry, Edmundson or Chiarot level, or even close. Just stop. It’s ridiculous. No one knows what could’ve been if Hughes didn’t trade Kovy, except that this team wouldn’t be much better then they are now, if at all.

We're just saying he might help solidify our D squad. Would he be better than Savard? yes would he be better than Barron? Yes. That's already a plus. Also none of our experiments putting lefties on the right has worked. It's stupid wasting Ghule and guys like that on the right if they cannot play at their 100%.
