That would make things interesting. They might sell jerseys.
Or at least ramp up hot dog sales

Would you guys do 3 team swap involving Flames and Florida. Huberdeau to Florida, Flames retain 3 million. Price and Gallagher to Calgary. Bob to Montreal?

Saves Habs 21 million in money. Bob is tradeable in a year. We be 100% clear of Gallagher and Price long term cap hit then. Montembeault and Bob our tardem to start season. But Bob be gone by trade deadline.

Florida puts Huberdeau back with Barkov, free up enough caproom to call up Knight. They probably have to send a little something to either Calgary or Montreal.

Flames get out from underneath 70% of Huberdeau contract. Gain 1 million in caproom next season. Price goes on LTIR. Gallagher they can buyout in a year for 1.8 million for 4 years. First year be tough on Flames but next 6 years saves a ton caproom. Or they could buyout Gallagher this summer for 2.2 million? They would gain 5 million caproom next season.

Why would Bobrovsky waive his full NMC to go from a top contending team to a non contending team.

Florida isn't trading Bob for Huberdeau even at 3 mill retained.

“Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving offered several teams a sixth-round pick for a goaltender, which all teams turned down. He hoped a team was desperate to trade a goaltender. » - Elliotte Friedman

I can't believe how cheap GMs are to acquire goaltenders via trade, but then overpay for a UFA one.

This rumour sounds like a satire, but it's probably not.

Toronto fabs should be livid that their GM is not willing to pay for a goaltender.

The Bell Centre was clearly built on a native burial ground...
The curse of doing this leads to players getting

Injured randomly:

Adopt horrible luck:

MAN, habs need forwards... Kent help us!!
He did. Slaf is no superstar. Dach and Newhook are injured. Moneyhands is a steal, but his body quite beat up. Apart from all those picks, what else do the Habs have to get them? Anderson, Gally, Armia, Savard, Dvorak, Evans, Allen?

I was not ready for the pink suit with buttons instead of a zipper :ha:

Tyson Jost clears, nobody wants him.

Habs were probably looking with Newhook-Dach-Anderson-Dvorak out long term. Any other options?

Habs will just call up Heineman and possibly someone else to replace Dvorak and Anderson. Heineman would replace Anderson as a winger. Not sure who they would call up to replace Dvorak as a center.

They have Lias Andersson who just came back from injury. They have Maillet who can play center. And maybe offer Gignac an NHL contract to call him up. He's currently on an AHL deal, but playing like someone who would deserve an NHL deal to finish the year and called up. He definitely skates like someone who can play in the NHL and plays with jam.

According to Friedman, the Hurricanes, who have explored avenues and started serious discussions with Hughes and the Habs, could consider trading Michael Bunting for a goalie.

don't believe his lies :slaugh:

Just came back from the main boards so you don't have to;

Monahan is worth conditional 3rd while Lindholm and his 2 extra point is worth a 1st and your 2nd best prospect.
