He said multiple teams have been looking at him, and his value is about the same as it was a year ago
Which is probably less than a 1st round pick or else he would not be in Montreal anymore. Probably worth less than Shaw and Eller were in their prime (two 2nd). Likely a end of 2nd round pick.

Yeah, but this was Dreger eclipsing shit. Is there a market, no, would I be surprised if he left, no...or something to that effect.

Anyone catch this segment?
Can we trade Anderson?

Teams are interested but no return. I Doubt Hughes will trade Anderson though. He refused in past,

At end Pagnotta says he thinks possible Savard back to Tampa. Then signs off. Kind of left us hanging.

Habs Fanatics should be banned from this board. It's a piece of exploitative trash.

It's part of a network of dumb hockey websites ran by HL Media, pretty sure they have one for every team.

Here a few:
https://www.habsfanatics.com/ https://www.canucksdaily.com/ https://www.penguinslatest.com/ https://www.bruinsinsider.com/ https://www.krakenlatest.com/ https://www.nyrangersinsider.com/ https://www.dailyhockeydose.com/ https://www.rumeursdetransaction.com/

And the job offers on their own website, that give a good understanding of their business model (and yes, they use gmail as a business address like real pro):

Most if not all the time these so called insiders are just rhyming off a bunch of speculation.Do they talk to scouts Gm's people in the organization .Some do.Do the Gm's tell them they are trading this player and that player for this return.Absolutely not.It is mostly just guess work for clicks. Most of us just using common sense can throw this stuff out there.

Real good. Anderson is worth what he was last year. But no one ever said what the offers were last year. Could be a 1st but the key is was retention required. What it does indicate is he is not being devalued because of how bad he has been this season.

I wouldn’t put it past him. He talks about the long term all the time. Signing EP at 12m will be the first block towards Cap issues. Tough to justify 4 million extra over Suzuki with the way Hughes thinks. I’m not diminishing EP, it’s just Hughes has reapeatedlynmentioned his philosophy on salary, retention etc

I seem to recall that Hughes specifically mentioned that he wouldn’t be against signing a player to a higher AAV than Suzuki depending on the circumstances.

With the cap rising over 90M before long and considering EP is 100 pts player, it would coherent for the Habs to offer the latter a +10M AAV on the FA market.

Adding EP and a top-5 pick this offseason would essentially complete the rebuild, especially if the Habs can engineer a trade for another impactful player with a package involving WPG’s 2024 1st, MTL’s 2025 2nd and a young D for instance.

Vancouver already made a 12 mil x 8 years offer before the season. It will take at least that much and from a contending team.

How do people get the actual X post to show? I used to post Twitter links and it would appear automatically.

If he refused in the past, it doesn't mean he will refuse now.

We don't know what he was offered (of if).

Anderson isn't untouchable, but i don't think the Habs are going to pay a premium to give him away either.
