If only we listened to him. :sarcasm:

Well apparently someone's still stalking the HF pleb and didn't like the attention. Be careful or you too may end up missing out on great content. :sarcasm:

Trenin is a guy I'm very interested in for our roster...

He's a UFA to be, but if KH was interested, he might well want to add him now to get the edge in signing him this summer/see how he fits with the group

Strikes me as a pretty great fit for our 3rd linegoing forward

Go back read old threads, vast majority wanted Dubois. Although 100% now deny it
I wanted PLD too and don't deny it. I didn't want him at that cost and for those assets he ended up with but would have happily signed him to a Suzuki range contract as a FA or traded for him at the right price.

Not to say he'd be as bad here as he's been in LA. Who knows how it might've turned out had LA not jumped in and grabbed him before the Habs had a chance. Though Hughes apparently wasn't overly interested in him and never made a trade offer.

Seems like LA coach been deterrent to Dubois. He likely flourished under Marty. Maybe that is why we had 2 scouts there?

I think he would’ve done better here than there. Players have for the most part thrived under MSL. Plus playing where he wanted to, I think that makes a difference. We’ll never know and I’d be shocked if Habs were there scouting him for a potential trade. Seems like it be too messy and he’s making more than Hughes wanted to pay him. LA would have to drop their pants and eat money on that contract and not get back anything close to what they paid. So I’d say it’s a long shot at best they’re talking about PLD. Maybe scouting a player for an Allen, Armia or Harris trade. We know Bergy loves all those players.

Kings looking for netminding, Allen I imagine. Hard to believe Dubois would fall that far that fast. He is probably a heavy 60 point center under Marty.

He was terrible before he ever got to LA, not sure why you’re clinging on to him so hard

I thought he was playing better? Odd, a year ago this board wanted to trade the farm for Dubois. Now same posters, don't want him for nil.
It's a mentality the majority of the population observe: What have you done for me lately? Theses are the same guys who make trades in fantasy leagues on a weekly basis. all about riding the hot hand.lol
