Kakko is looking real good tonight. The kind of big framed project I prefer to Zegras, very Dach like. Kid had great hands in tight and imo just needs opportunity to explode.
+1

There is no obvious flaws in his game, he's engaged, shifty and pretty creative everytime I see him play. He'd fit darn well with Dach... I wonder what Drury wants for him. What I hear from people who follow the rags about Kakko is that he does everything well...it just doesn't translate into points.
Wonder if Dr.Shot and Marty could fix that.
Even if not, he’d be an awesome 3rd liner for us. We don’t really have anyone in the system like him besides Heineman who gets injured every game. What I hear from people who follow the rags about Kakko is that he does everything well...it just doesn't translate into points.

Sounds like Slafkovsky a few months ago! Hmm!What I hear from people who follow the rags about Kakko is that he does everything well...it just doesn't translate into points.

Dach is a much, much, much better skater than Kakko.Kakko is looking real good tonight. The kind of big framed project I prefer to Zegras, very Dach like. Kid had great hands in tight and imo just needs opportunity to explode.
Kakko wouldn't cost as much and has a 40 point season under his belt, something neither Armia or Eller ever did. Also, Zegras is not close to Suzuki. Would rather spend lesser assets on Kakko if possible than overpay for a winger that I wouldn't play over either of Suzuki's.Kakko = Armia/Eller
Zegras = Suzuki
Man people dont watch games. If you prefer Kakko to Zegras, go on my ignore list.
According to what Rangers want? But former 2nd overall doubt Kakko be cheap. They likely ask for Jets first.Kakko wouldn't cost as much and has a 40 point season under his belt, something neither Armia or Eller ever did. Also, Zegras is not close to Suzuki. Considering their abysmal drafting record over the last years, we have to wonder the value to them of that 1st round pickClassic laughs. Too cheap to fix their D corps which they desperately need to improve.
Perennial + player, good possession numbers. Could be the missing piece in our top 6.Kakko is looking real good tonight. The kind of big framed project I prefer to Zegras, very Dach like. Kid had great hands in tight and imo just needs opportunity to explode.
Imagine they hold on to Monahan, save a 2025 first, get a 2024 first, get another first for Huberdeau at LY deadine and aw shucks can't sign Kadri long-term? And maybe not trade Toffoli cheap?Says the GM who paid a first rounder to get rid of one year of Sean Monahan.
Their biggest need last off-season was getting a defensive D who could eat up minutes
and make them harder to play against in the playoffs.
Thats the price I would be willing to pay for Zegras. Kakko should be much cheaper to acquiredPerennial + player, good possession numbers. Could be the missing piece in our top 6.
Dach healthy + Kakko I think we’re playoff bound next year.
What makes it done? Is our 2024 first (if not top 5) + a young D (Harris, Barron, Xhekaj) ex Guhle?
I don’t think Rags are selling low on Kakko so whatever the price, it would look like an overpayment for its current level and production.

Couille is the kind of ballsy young players every team needsI like this Will Cuylle, I noticed him last night. love to have a guy like this on the 3rd line.
