Why?
Like it or not they were the first ones to call LAK on PLD sweeps despite all the talking heads claiming Mtl was the final destination
Why?
They have ties with LA but the other 99% of Timor’s are usually wrong in my years following em. They aren’t as tied as LeBrun/Friedman/Weekes etcWhy?

Not to mention that there were plenty of rumors that Philly was all set on moving up to get Michkov. Trading Gauthier for the 5th and drafting Reinbacher doesn't mean they had him ahead, everyone knew Arizona wanted Reinbacher and Michkov wouldn't play there so it could just be a plan to get two guys they really want.David Reinbacher is that good, I spent the past like 18 months hyping him up.
Michkov is still Michkov, and for a team like the Habs to pass on such a player... It's hard to justify.
Id like to see the Habs start building a mini USNDP team as our core group.. start trading to bring the players together..I think Zegras is a player that would do well here and bring some much needed offence to the Habs that desperately need it. Good friends with Caufield too. I can see it happening and hope it happens. Feels more likely after the Gauthier trade.
It's not even a rumor. They have ties with LA but the other 99% of Timor’s are usually wrong in my years following em. They aren’t as tied as LeBrun/Friedman/Weekes etc
Marco have that kind of power?Marco is prepping you guys for the Zegras trade on Kent's orders
I doubt they move Zegras. He's elite skill. Always a gamble to move those kind. I think he just needs to grow up a little. But hey, we were all young once.I doubt Anaheim moves Zegras until the offseason. So in my opinion it’s all worthless speculation until then.
And people think that court-jesters are a thing of the past. lolLike the rest of us, they’re trying to figure out what Letowski is actually doing.
They have Killorn, Gudas ... Pat Verbeek is cooking something.I doubt they move Zegras. He's elite skill. Always a gamble to move those kind. I think he just needs to grow up a little. But hey, we were all young once.
Anaheim should add character veterans to aid their 20 year olds development .Monahan this summer as UFA be example. McTavish and Carlsson also young centers.
Ducks are deep down the middle, can always move one to wing.
I'll save you all the trouble.
The Habs won't trade for Zegras. They won't even be interested.
They want to build a team that can go on deep playoff runs.. not a team that can put some perimeter flash plays on Tik Tok then disappear.
Well, funny is your schtick right. lolI have a funny feeling Hughes is up to something. If not with the Ducks then it has to be the Sens.

Joseph really isn't what the team needs at all unless you think he's going to be a late bloomer. The team needs top 6 offensive talent.I want Mathieu Joseph. In fact, I wanted him at the start of the season when there were rumors they were going to move him in order to create cap space for Pinto. Obviously we know Pinto was suspended. But he is slated to return soon and he still needs to be signed and Sens still need to make room for him on the cap.
Although I think if they do move Joseph, it'll more than likely be to a contender or someone who will make a push for the playoffs. And the price to acquire him is probably higher now than it was at the start of the year because he has been having a good season so far.
Despite all that, Joseph is someone I would like to be on the Habs. He's a fast skater, plays with some jam, can produce, he's not small (6'1" and 190 lbs).
He's also under contract for another two years after this year at a really good cap hit ($2.95M) and will turn 27 next month, so he's not some old vet. He's in his prime years right now. He'll be 29 when his current deal is up.
Going by the recent L'Antichambre interview, Hughes isn't going to trade that much in his division. He's not interested in helping divisional rivals.I have a funny feeling Hughes is up to something. If not with the Ducks then it has to be the Sens.

From his lack of activity it looks like he's not interested in dong anything. lolGoing by the recent L'Antichambre interview, Hughes isn't going to trade that much in his division. He's not interested in helping divisional rivals.
If i was a betting man i would think we would be after Pinto.Exactly the kind of player we need. The Sens need goaltending and defense badly and we have both.Just a hunch on my part.I want Mathieu Joseph.
