Reinbacher + 2nd for Gauthier, I would have done it without thinking about it.
Cutter Gauthier is EXACTLY the kind of piece we are missing. Big talented forward who's dominating.
Yeah I would do it if Gauthier wanted to play here, can just draft another defenseman this year

Holy f*** stop seeing Reinbache like some sort of bust jesus f***ing christ. His value is so much bigger than Drsydale is (at the moment). A trade close in value would have been Barron + CGY first (Barron much more success in the NHL so far but ceiling is a bit less).

Calisse...Anaheim has Carlsson, McTavish and Gauthier????

Anaheim, that's what we call a rebuild with quality.
Tanking pays if done to the limit properly and a little luck helps on choosing at the right draft year unlike us

Doesn't matter how much talent Gauthier has ,Start whining about where you want to play when he hasn't played a single game in the NHL is a huge strike right from the get go.

That is what trading one of your top young D can land you.

Crazy!
Seeing how deep our D prospect pool is, this is great to see.

One of Hutson, Reinbacher, Harris, Barron, Xhekaj, Mailloux, or even Ghule will eventually fetch us an excellent forward prospect via trade.
Could even add Engstrom to the list...

Curious on why he didnt want to play for Philly but man ANA looks good

Soon this will be us who will have to move a def for forward help
We do need to move some guys, but the defense is pretty much already set for:

Guhle-Reinbacher/Mailloux
Hutson-Reinbacher/Mailloux
Struble-Xhekaj

Meaning Barron/Harris/Engstrom would be the guys to trade and I doubt we get anything exciting in return for them.

Anaheim still sucks even though they've been picking Top-10 since 2019 and will pick high again this year (for a 6th year in a row).

I agree that Habs will move a D to help their forward group. Similar to how they moved Romanov in one deal in order to facilitate a trade for Dach.

Do you tank people ever want to actually win games? It astounds me to see how many supposed fans root for their alleged favorite team to lose every night.

Read all about it in his latest book:

Briere confirms that they knew a few months after the draft gauthier didn’t want to play in Philly.

Thanks other GM’s who were involved in trade talks for not leaking the fact that gauthier didn’t want to play there.

Flyers building on a core 3 of Michkov, Drysdale, York... that is a smol core.

And i don't care too much about that normally.

Rebuilds take actual time. By the end of this draft, the talent they'll have stocked up will be rather impressive. Meanwhile, our talent pool will be the ? in the underpants gnomes equation.
