Where did he call the trade for 13th ?

I found his article on Petry to the pens. Maybe people on hf speculated the same.

Twitter doesn't go back too far for Kulak.

This guy isn't legitimate at all.

It’s from the tweet below where he had Anderson for the 13th which ended being Romanov instead:

And Kulak:

Kulak one maybe, but the Anderson, ending up being Romanov and a pick doesn't count.

If it does, then hf is correct cause we all called Domi for Anderson and we're not legitimate.

If Hugo can can Kravtsov, I’d be a very happy camper. Add him to an already much bigger, faster and more skilled lineup and we’re 3 years ahead of the curve when it comes to young players on the team. Next year, add another top 5 prospect and with the cap, fix the goal and D problem and we’ll be a legitimately contending team next year.

Just imagine a top 6 of:

Anderson Suzuki Caufield
Slafkovsky Dach Kravtsov
I don't know if I want to see Hugo & Kravtsov doing the can can. Maybe if everyone involved shaves their legs but even then.

Evans might have some value to the Rags…
Not sure what else we could give them…

Why don't they bring Subban back? He'll be a perfect Captain for this team tbh
Somewhere in BC Gally just read your post and this happened. :)

Really who gives a crap what Gallagher thinks? He should worry about carrying his own weight.

Armia with retention should be genuinely valuable.
Habs won’t retain on three more years of a contract. Seems unwise and unlike Hughes.

Won’t happen on a long term contract unless Hughes changes his tune. Otherwise, he’s been adamant about only retaining on expiring contracts.

More likely scenario involves taking back an asset that can be flipped later but having less term than Armia.

I honestly don't see the issue if the return is good enough.

They also retain 100% on Armia by keeping him.
There may be situations where it could be palatable (like a short remaining term with a relatively low cap hit) but we’d first need to see Hughes embark on that type of deal, which so far he’s asserted that he’d only retain on expiring contracts.

The issue is that they lose one of the 3 retention spots for 3 years. Now if they don't foresee needing all 3 spots next season they might consider it.
That's obviously true, bit it's worth it if the return is good, for example Kravtsov or Lundquist, who are cost controlled assets.

I think if NYR wants depth, they‘ll go for Evans before Armia with retention because he can play C, and the Habs would prefer trading Evans than Armia with retention in my opinion.
