Get just one I be happy. If Price goes on LTIR, We should have 30 million in caproom next offseason. Drouin and Dadanov next season be their last year in Montreal. That's 11 million. Bryon and Allen last year here also I imagine. Another 6 million, makes 17 million. Dvorak quite sure be gone by deadline. Anderson 59/50 chance traded by then. Makes 27 million. Realistic Price be on LTIR. Makes 37 million. Subtract raise to Caufield and 4 entry level players.

Gallagher and value don't mix. Sadly, 2022 Gallagher is a negative asset and you'd have to add considerably to get a 7th in return

After next season Gallagher's salary jumps to 8M then 9M with 10.5M left over the final 2 years. Holy f*** is that terrible.

I think one year was important, but I think it was more likely that he was willing to take the chance that:

1) Winnipeg would elect for arbitration - he could pick a two year contract to walk to free agency; or
2) A team would submit an offer-sheet.

I think Dubois will be kicked down the road for a year, which fits our timeline better since we will have more cap flexibility and we want to go for Bedard.

HuGo wants to start the season with no one on LTIR but on day #2 good chances Byron is going there, potentially Price and then you have cap space.

Just need to sign Dach now without using LTIR e.g. we need a cap dump trade of about $2M
