Stanley's trade request has real "You can't fire me - I quit!" vibes
That's the trouble with trying to go up the middle. You could end up with the worst of both worlds.
Blehh Bjugstad would have been a great addition.
answered your own questionJust what does Stanley think he has accomplished in the NHL to ask for a trade, he barely can get on the ice for the Jets an really does nothing to say hey this guy should be a regular

Give the Hawks a third and tell them take it or leave it, then move on if they say noWould've definitely preferred Bjugstad for a 3rd over Domi for a 2nd.
I am not sure that you post isn't even more silly. I didn't say they would win the cup, just that they would have a better chance to do that. You should look up the stats for the value of draft picks. Historically only 50% of first round picks, 37 % of second round d picks, 15% of third round picks play more than 99 games in the NHL. That doesn't even deal with the fact that many of those aren't even that good players. Many Jets fans put way too much value in our picks. Also, note that in our current team only 44% of our players were drafted by the jets. So, are we really a draft and develop team? This is why I believe that when you have an opportunity to trade for a legitimate top four defenceman that has term, you need to move on it. You can then arrange to trade one of Schmidt or Pionk at the draft. You still end up ahead for next year, not to mention better off for this year. I think I am the one laughing out loud!Silly thing to say. Think you are over rating Chychrun who has what zero playoff games? Bitching for the sake of it. So where you trading Dillon pionk or Schmidt to first so Chychrun actually has a spot to play? Like lol here
maybe that's why he wants a trade lolJust what does Stanley think he has accomplished in the NHL to ask for a trade, he barely can get on the ice for the Jets an really does nothing to say hey this guy should be a regular
Bjugstad just got picked up by Edmonton, he's off the board now smh
So he wants to sit in a different pbmaybe that's why he wants a trade lol

I'm not debating anything. I thought it was funny.Let's not revisit this "debate", especially in the trade thread.
or he wants to go to a team that gives him an opportunity to playSo he wants to sit in a different pb
In the AHLor he wants to go to a team that gives him an opportunity to play
Where is this Provorov talk coming from? Been at work all day so haven't checked twitter but I see his name in this thread. Is it based on something real or just people speculating? If we trade for Provorov, that might be the one move that makes me give up my Jets fan card and this is someone who has stuck by this team even during the worse of the Pavelec era.
