I saw him this year in Hamilton when Erie came to town and wasn't overly impressed with his game, granted it was the only time I saw him live this year.

I'm a proponent of going all in with a good team, but missing the playoffs after doing so last season is definitely cause for pause.

Team is going to lean on its studs then hope that they last long enough to get Gaborik and maybe Greene back. Could have a lot of depth by Round 2 if they can get there.

Schultz on the 3rd pairing is better than McBain. Purcell in the lineup is a little better than no Gaborik. Could be tried next to Kopitar Lucic and shunt Brown down lower.

Well this just means Brown likely starts the playoffs on Kopitar's right which is scary. Him and Lucic together are turnover machines. Brown can't skate more than 10 feet in the neutral zone before losing it and Lucic still makes those blind passes to no one in the offensive zone. They must have both had at least 5 turnover each the other night.

that's cool about Kempe working out at TSC. Maybe he was seeing one of the teams doctors...he has been injured...it would be cool for a callup to see what he could do,
but with him coming off of an injury, less than likely. maybe IF a roster player is going to EDM (Andreoff, Shore, Mersch?) than maybe they callup Kempe?

Wouldn't surprise me if Kempe got a call up for a game or so in the playoffs. Not that he's necessarily ready, but Lombardi/Sutter threw Toffoli/Pearson into the playoffs as an experiment.
