This...need a game breaker like Carter 4 deadlines ago, or Gaborik 2 deadlnes ago.

Someone of the likes of Pacioretty or Eriksson. Hudler even. Need a winger, more than center, but Carter could move to wing, if it was Hudler.

Just have limited assets and not a lot of cap room. Maybe there's a B level player
like David Perron, who has been kind of meh for 2 years...and then goes to the Ducks
and has 15 pts in 17 games. and a whopping plus 14 in 17 games! A player like this could be Vrbata...who could probably come in and score tons of goals alongside Kopitar...(get Brown down to the third line again) but he's not a Kings type player. But the offense needs a resurgence.

That works. Need scoring. Since players like Pacioretty and Eriksson are probably
out of reach, need a B level type player who has scored 20+ goals a season and
may be not producing like that at the moment...but could produce like that instantly, if put with Kopitar. (replacing Brown) As in Perron...he has scored 20 before and has been not so good for 2+ yrs and goes to the Ducks and plays with Getzlaf / Perry and
scores 15 pts in 17 gms and is plus 14. There must be guys out there similar. Perron might have down the same thing here, if paired with Kopi and Lucic. Who are players out there like this?

I don't like Pacioretty as a leader, but he might be able to help as a complimentary player, the guy refuses to use his size and cut to the net, he's all perimeter. Just maybe if he plays for the Kings, he'll be forced to play the Kings style.

I'd rather get Hartnell to be honest.

No thanks. Pretty sure there is term left on Hartnell so that would mean saying bye to Lucic and I would rather have Milan long term, if possible.

I think that overpayment for Larsson. Would rather target someone else like Truoba. Doubt Jets move him for more forwards at this point. They have a bunch of young guys now coming through the ranks and/or on the big club.

I think a lot of Devils fans would probably say thats an underpayment. last year he struggled but this year hes really solidified himself as a top pairing Dman and it would take a lot to pry him from NJ

would rather get Hudler and Russel from Flames...both small players, but bigger impact players than either Purcell and Schultz.

revelation on Zykov...he's had an injured elbow all year....maybe there is hope for him still! when he gets healthy, maybe he will arise.

Purcell will be fine as long as he's given decent linemates.

Schultz will be fine as long as you limit his minutes. Severely.

Oh goody, I like a good three way. Doesn't it seem strange that we've already made a trade with our biggest cup contender and are supposedly poised to trade with a div rival. Has DL pissed off all the other guys with his shrewd moves.
