Then he'll either play well or get waived and his salary will be stashed in the minors. I'll be surprised if he doesn't retire given he was already looking at a season in the minors with Chicago's AHL team.
Come on guys, there are other things worth worrying about. Scuderi's 2nd contract year is not one of them.
See above.
Yes. No hesitation.
Don't think you could resign both Lucic and Loui though.. And the Kings would certainly rather keep Lucic, at this point I think. Although, maybe Eriksson ends up being cheaper, anyways

Bos - Paying lucic
Phi - Paying Vinny
Phi - Paying Schenn
CHI - Paying Scuds
Am I missing any?
Helping Chicago is awesome too. I'm not on the ledge over this deal, but it feels like a fart in the face.

Ehrhoff is not going to help Chicago.
-10. ON THE KINGS. -10!
Pittsburgh is also paying Scuds.

Yes, the Kings paying Richards.

What happens if the Kings send Scuderi to the minors next year? It looks like his annual Cap hit will be $1.125M so not sure if all of that would count towards the Cap or not.
It's not that I care about losing Ehrhoff as much as I'm just confused as to why this deal was made in the first place. Doesn't seem to have majorly helped either team.
