Yeah we aren't super close this year. We need a top 4D and a top 4 RW and then I'd say we are about as close as we're gonna get.

The biggest issue is Paryako has a full NTC. He isn't realistic imo.

I didn’t say I liked JT Miller. What I am saying is there are players out there with term that are available for the right price but like I said the Jets just do not want to part with any pics right now. Smaltz, Boeser , crouse .? And there’s probably more options if you’d be a little bit creative.

We need a 1st pair RHD. We need an entire new 3rd line. Barron - Lowry - Appleton would make a pretty good 4th line. We need first half Dubois back and signed.

I think the way the players have played in their last 10 games told him they aren’t close. If they were 8-2 I think he can go for it. Instead they are having practices where the coach needs to yell at them to have their sticks on the ice.

I don't think we are ever gonna match what Boston or Carolina have, That is way to much to build on at a deadline.
We get a top 4 defencemen and a top 6 RW and we are are competitive once Perfetti and Dubois draw back in.

Appleton and Dubois are both in non-contact jerseys today. but optional skate unsure of who is all out there.
if appleton is gone long-term namestnikov slides in succinctly. if PLD is out long-term, Namestnikov can cover at 3C while Lowry is up at 2c (lol).

They did more with less in November/December. The problem isnt depth. Their best players have been dog shit lately.
Not that the depth couldn’t be far better. But the lead dogs need to lead the way.
