Trade Deadline Thread (March 3)

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates
Hope were in on a rental like Gavrikov still lol
Was just about to say, I wonder if we still try Bryson & worst 2nd for Jensen/Gavrikov/Edmundson or something for less for Shattenkirk/Kulikov. I'll take Clague and Stillman as a more diverse 7-8 behind a modestly improved top 6. I also hope/think we're not quite done.

Edmundson has had a hard time staying in the lineup due to injury for a bit. Jensen would be appealing. Gavrikov seems like some team (Edmonton) is going to pony up what Jarmo had cooking with the Bruins to sweep Gavrikov off to a playoff run.

The good news is WE ALL KNOW there's got to be more coming than The Tank Commander, and this temporary pit in our stomachs, equating to waking up on Xmas and finding coal in our stocking.

We Believe in Kevyn !!!!

It's not March 3rd yet bitches !!

It reminds me when we wanted Colin Miller to be traded at the deadline last year. We waited...

Pretty sure he averages 68 or something games played per year. Not impeccable but hardly glass.
68 is not his average, its his most games played in a season and that was his rookie season, he never managed to play more games since; his average is 56 games by the way

This will be the excuse if Chychrun doesn't move before the deadline. It could also be why Adams is holding the line as he knows they are one of a few teams that do not need retention.

Buffalo doesn't need money retained but I don't think Buffalo is serious about Chychrun. Arizona is asking for Savioe a 1st ++ and no way Adams trades Savioe

I think Adams is playing chicken with Arizona and he has his offer and is sticking to it.

Armstrong will need to decide whether that is good enough or if he wants to drag this out even more.

Armstrong is also holding firm to not taking real dollars back. That's probably a bigger thing in all of this, the Coyotes are not interested (or are incapable) of taking back salary. And no one is interested in retaining on something that isn't their contract for more than just this bit of this season as a broker.

If we are the only team who wouldn't request or necessitate any retention, I hope Adams realizes that could put us in the driver's seat.

But the fact is there is nothing out there that tells us Buffalo is interested

The Dahlin letter, the video of cozens thanking the fans, this letter, are all part of a marketing campaign.
I love the team and what they have done; but this stuff just doesn't reach me, its a bit like propaganda, maybe they tried bringing Edward Bernays out of the grave
