Adams might be best served letting teams destroy each other in the playoffs and then watch as depleted draft capital and depth wears them down. Of the top Eastern teams, only Carolina and NJ are close to having a set of regular drafts coming up.
Still think he is sitting on his hands so far because he wants to add depth and not get someone now and lose someone else on waivers. Won't be a problem after the Bruins game.

reports would suggest 'sitting on his hands' hasnt been what adams is doing

refusing to overpay for pieces, having untouchable prospects, having a lower value of available players, only wanting riley stillman, those are all accurate descriptions based on what has been released to the public

Apparently Kevyn Adams was going to join Joe DiBiase on Locked on Sabres tonight. There account Tweeted that Adams had to reschedule for tomorrow. And this was right after the Stillman trade so I am assuming more stuff is in the works

Edit: Pretty much this...

Could have been that he had to make calls to Bloom and his reps, or the league? Doesn't mean he was working on something else and had to cancel the radio appearance

We are all hoping the Stillman trade was a precursor to something bigger. We can have hope until the trade deadline passes.
I just don't understand what a Riley Stillman trade could be a precursor to. Did they need the depth because one of Clague or Bryson is moving? I mean who would want either of them.

I've been pretty lenient on KA thus far, and have defended him several times to this point, but this trade just flat out pisses me off. If they wanted Stillmans toughness fine, but there were/are better options out there than a sub-replacement level Dman.
