They overpaid for Lindholm, but you have to factor in the salary going the other way. Very similar to the Walker deal. They also get top6C insurance if Pettersson had walked.

Pricey move, but necessary.

Sid has 1 mor year left. he turns 37 in August. Question is whether he'd sign another contract after his expires in 2025? Maybe, like Brady, if he's going to keep going after 2025, he just walks from Pitt. But, really, up to him what he decides to do.

Ovy has the goal record to gun for. Sid, will soon hit 600 goals and 1000 assists. To compete for another Cup, he has to leave Pitt like Brady left NE for TB.

They tried to do this (per rumour) to get Tanev FWIW.

Well tanev is a much better player imo so there is that

Looks like Guentzel will be going to Carolina. If it’s true they were asking for the moon, happy we avoid paying the cost, and happy he stays in the East.

Its been quiet with Buchnevich. That guy is a lot more appealing to me than Guentzel. Especially if StL is interested in retaining as rumoured.

Other than that no reason to move our next year 1st. Look at Duclair or Toffoli. Maybe try to pull a physical bottom 6er

Joshua - Blueger - Garner
Zucker? - Suter - Lafferty/Mikheyev

Minor correction. They didn't sign him but acquired him from the Predators at 50% retained.
