It's a difficult situation. We can give him term to lower the AAV, but then we have a player signed long term who won't age well. On the flip side, I think there's risk associated with letting him go. As has been already pointed out in this thread - top pair RHD don't grow on trees. If we are in "win now" mode, then I lean toward the idea of giving Aaron term and just dealing with the aftereffects of that later down the road..... hopefully after a championship...

if they win the SC his value could be pretty high and there is always a GM who is desperate and willing to overpay. Could get a haul.
