Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Clifford has 0 hockey sense and takes away a roster space.

He's just making up BS. He figured the Kings wouldn't make a trade during the game and after the game is likely too late on the East Coast so he made his statement.
That would require him to have contact with anyone that might have information. He doesn't.

Not in this case. I'm talking about guys who bust their butt getting out there to watch the games, get the interviews, work the phones, and then write about it so the fans can get information from more than the official source. I understand that trade negotiations can change on a dime. Rob Blake said as much in the Black and White Trade episode. But if writers get it mostly right then I appreciate and respect the work they put in and I'll enjoy reading it as a fan.
What I resent is posters who make it their mission to go on and on with their personal attacks of these writers, maybe hoping if they ridicule writers enough then the information flow will stop and instead we'll spend all our time telling critical HF posters that they're the man and they bring it every time. If you can do better than all these hard-working writers, do it. Put in the work and put something out there for the fans just because you love the game. You do that and I'll stand up for you, too.
if there is any hidden positive in the last 2 days... at least the mayor has been shunned below eklund again when it comes to hockey insight.

I was talking to some other Kings fans at the game on Saturday and they brought up this point so...
I'm just going to put this out there but do you think Dean is going all in because this might be his last year as GM?
The team has major cap issues, Dean has made some questionable calls recently (trades/contracts), and other teams have come around asking for his guys (hextall/Futa) for other GM jobs.
Is it out of the realm of possibility?

Possible but I think he's going all-in because he knows the team's talent isn't going to be as good next season. Lucic is likely gone. Gaborik will be a year older. Brown will year older. There's nothing in the pipeline to call up. The salary cap isn't going to go up or maybe slightly.

Personally I think it's all downhill from here unless the salary cap disappears...and I'm okay with that.
