Problem is, he already bought.

They're a couple points behind the Blues who just dealt Shattenkirk. That's got to be a downer for that dressing room especially considering they have been playing well of late. I wouldn't say they are a long shot to get in, regardless of the result tonight.
 
The draft is rumored to be 1999 bad.

So you need a top five pick to land even a decent shot at an NHL player.

The rest of the draft is rated bad to terrible.
 
I really think we should acquire a forward and 5/6 defensman. What about something like:

Muzzin + Kempe for Landeskog
A pick for Quincey

Gaborik Kopitar Landeskog
Pearson Carter Tofolli
Brown Lewis Shore
Clifford/King Dowd Andreoff/Nolan

Doughty Forbort
Martinez Ladue
Quincey Gravel

IMHO, either Landeskog or Duchene will be a King by this time tomorrow......
 
I would love that, but if Dean pulls something I think it comes out of nowhere. Maybe one of the kids in Carolina, or maybe whatever they were working on with the Rangers comes through.
 
I wonder if DL is waiting to see if we beat the Flames before he makes any moves.
 
I see Lombardi standing pat, may move an UFA. The time to get anything out of Dwight King is now. Dwight King is going to pick UFA, he will make more money.

Probably call up Brodzinski.

Burns is getting a raise next year, Thornton and Marleau are in their late 30's and both UFA's, and they just got to the Final last year. Hansen will probably help them more today than Goldobin. If not now for the Sharks, when?
