Dean should be fired if he trades for a over the hill fwd like Iginla.He needs to pay the price and get a quality top 6 fwd or LW.Dumpster diving isn't going to fix the woes.

Sell who? The likelihood that whatever low round pick King might bring back ever plays a game in the NHL is barely worth the trouble.

If there's nothing else out there for the Kings I can totally see the Kings getting Iginla. He could help out but his leadership alone could be huge for this team down the stretch.

With the contract situation, what else is he supposed to do? Few fans seem to want him to pay higher prices for Vanek. People are maybe alright with Muzzin or Martinez going, but it's not just the Kings in the expansion draft, so how many teams are taking a defenseman that needs to be protected? Let alone for say a younger top 6 forward that doesn't need to be.

Carolina pretty much has their whole d core exempt with the exception being Faulk. Could take advantage of that. Just a thought.

Sutter likes McBadd...and Darryl may not be 'familiar' with Quincey and his kids, nephews or brothers are not familiar with Quincey either...and worse, he does not work a farm...so not a good fit.

Gravel should not be sitting and is better than Quincey now.
