i dont understand this mentality. take a look at the picks we hold, take a look at the penalty thats surely coming, take a look at albany's forward lineup, then come back to me and say 'so what, we have 11 billion defensivemen. no need for picks.'
To Lou, the potential of having defensive depth for the rest of the regular season and in the playoffs apparently matters more than getting a 2nd or 3rd round pick. That's a reasonable argument to me. Conversely, I wouldn't have been upset if Tallinder were dealt for a pick, but it doesn't matter too much.
