I've said it before, I'll say it again. Aside from just getting rid of the surplus D-men or acquiring a 1st liner that we can't afford, there's nothing for the team to improve on personnel wise. We need the players we have to execute. It's really that simple.

How about the fact we have no forward depth? Like I said in the Summer this team is better off with Urbom or Gelinas than one of the many boobs that play forward who get the call up from Albany.

Pens will lose in the first round and fail like the Flyers did last year. Though Rask isn't a hula hoop, this strategy rarely works. You can't just throw a bunch of talent on a team with 12 games to go and expect it to work.

The Rags were the greatest team ever assembled and might miss the playoffs.

i dont understand this mentality. take a look at the picks we hold, take a look at the penalty thats surely coming, take a look at albany's forward lineup, then come back to me and say 'so what, we have 11 billion defensivemen. no need for picks.'
