Wade Pylon got traded to the Bruins? Niccceeeee

This balances out the kind of panic Jagr to Boston created for Thursday's match up at least.

How about the fact we have no forward depth? Like I said in the Summer this team is better off with Urbom or Gelinas than one of the many boobs that play forward who get the call up from Albany.

We have tons of forward depth (on the pro level). The problem is that all we are is depth and lack top end/scoring. If you want to talk organizational depth, that's another story. But that's not what any of you wanted to acquire today. Everyone hear wanted a top 6 forward which would... fun fact... sacrifice organizational depth somewhere, not add to it.

Sucks to find out that our players have no value. Even if we suspect it, the confirmation stings.

We should be down to 6 d-men. Really.

Who cares if our forwards get hurt? We have all these excess defensemen! I mean we'd rather have Sestito up than Urbom right?

i dont understand this mentality. take a look at the picks we hold, take a look at the penalty thats surely coming, take a look at albany's forward lineup, then come back to me and say 'so what, we have 11 billion defensivemen. no need for picks.'

Tell me how active the teams around the league were today in trading picks/prospects for mid/bottom pairing defensemen today?

Then we miss the playoffs, and didn't happen to acquire a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Oh well, missed out on that 20% chance of someone playing more than 100 NHL games.

Its ok because our defensive merry go round will give us a nice lottery pick. Ups those odds for NHL player though eh?

Fair enough, top 6 depth. We can afford an injury to one of our defensemen before a forward too is what I'm saying. Urbom is a better call up than Sestito. One of our best defensemen was sitting for over 3 weeks.
