Domi just doesnt fit anywhere, he turns either of the top 2 lines from average defensively to a liability.
Can't be part of a responsible third and is way overpaid for the 4th.

If he goes to the first line, then one of Willie or Mitch gets wasted or miscast on a shutdown line.

Both Laughton and Walman got another year after this playoffs. We also got 2 picks back from Flyers too with 1.5mil retention.


Marchand is miles better than Laughton but Leafs can’t fit him with his full caphit.

My point is that Marchand didn’t really went for a 2nd rounder and if that’s end up being the case, it means Marchand couldn’t play. So Panthers have a 2nd rounder for someone to sit in the press box.
