Overall good deadline from Tre

Get a young #4 RHD with size, finally someone to pair with Reilly that fits. Will improve the PK significantly. This is the best D we’ve had in the Matthews era.

Laughton is a 3C who can PK well. Maybe not the most ideal fit, but good enough player to fit the role.

Both signed next season for a combined 5 mill is tidy work

The trickle down effect improves the depth of this team and is addition by subtraction of minutes to guys like Benoit and Holmberg.

Prices were bonkers but he did well to mitigate overpaying and shored up some holes on the roster in meaningful areas not just for this season but the next 1-2 as well.

Retention is a nice cherry on top with the cap increasing
