Unacceptable to run with this goaltending and soft ass lineup

There should be even more thugs and thugettes out thurr sire. Blackwell has intensity and giordano has such charisma... he could play a part in the bold and the beautiful. Long time and still kill it. What a man. But yeah we need more people like Motte, Lauzon..... Borowiechki would be a real plug.

I'm fine with the deals.

Realistically I don't see a trade out there that would change the Leafs fortunes for the better if the current core doesn't perform. It's on their shoulders.

Gio, Lyubushkin, Blackwell is tidy work at a low cost overall.

Varlamov might have, but maybe the deal wasn't there.

No other goalie out there, especially with the price for MAF, is any better than taking a bet on Campbell and Mrazek bouncing back, and Kallgren/Woll being able to carry the torch if they can't.

Seems like we are betting on some of our prospects as well.

lol see you all next year, hopefully with a new GM. Boston will pass us in the standings in about 10 ish days, another 1st round whooping incoming. Biggest issue has been goaltending all year and our gm does absolutely nothing to address it. Sad. I had hope that if we addressed our needs we could make some noise in the playoffs, but that didn't happen. Just feels like we're waiting for the inevitable here. I will always cheer for this team but I don't have an ounce of faith in this group to win a round. Dubas should be fired before the draft.

I really wanted a goalie upgrade, but this is the correct answer. MAF is just as much of a question as the two incumbents but at the cost of a first.
Varly would’ve been a reasonable solution as well, but Lou stood pat

Dusbas did not do his job today, I would be more pissed if he didn't get Giordano yesterday but today he did not do his job

You think Dubas did a decent job ? You think this team has a chance against any of the Atlantic division rivals ? You're kidding yourself. I'm a die hard Leafs fan but look at things objectively. We were already a step behind Florida/Tampa and they both made huge upgrades. We were on par with Boston and they just got better, we did nothing to address our goaltending. If you think this team can do something in the playoffs, I applaud your enthusiasm. But I don't see that happening.

After all these years the other teams goalie played better than ours and the consistent year over year of failures. Not one move to get a better goalie than Mrazek???

Our starting goalie made the all-star game, and despite playing like absolute ass for several weeks (likely due to injury) still has a higher sv% than the headlining options being discussed (Fleury/Gibson)
