Well everyone around us got tougher. And we were quite arguably the softest to begin with. Maybe I'm panicking, but I think it's time to give Matthew Knies a look. Big body LW to play in our top 6. Maybe gives the team a shot in the arm to see a young guy come in and battle.

At the end of the day, time for the so called Big 4 to get it done.

What indications are there any of those were options? I wanted varly but Lou didn’t sell any vets, Gibson has been ass for several seasons and would be more of an off season move.
Shuffling deck chairs doesn’t really solve the issue at hand.
If they decided the guys internally are as good a bet as any of the realistic options then so be it.

If they decided the internal options are the move, all the more reason the house should be cleaned and cleared

I’m not a happy camper. This is bringing out the PTSD in my Leaf brain.

I’m not happy with Dubas. We should have got a different goalie, mrazek clearly wasn’t working.

Having Mrazek in net in the playoffs makes me INCREDIBLY nervous. I can already see the floodgates pouring in.

lol see you all next year, hopefully with a new GM. Boston will pass us in the standings in about 10 ish days, another 1st round whooping incoming. Biggest issue has been goaltending all year and our gm does absolutely nothing to address it. Sad. I had hope that if we addressed our needs we could make some noise in the playoffs, but that didn't happen. Just feels like we're waiting for the inevitable here. I will always cheer for this team but I don't have an ounce of faith in this group to win a round. Dubas should be fired before the draft.

You could very well be right. Knies did look comfortable and unafraid against men at the Olympics. And we should have the contract spot for him if I'm not mistaken

We just won't win a round against BOS, TB, or FLA with our goaltending.

I love Gio, I like that he's a Leaf, but it was probably third on our list. We completely ignored our secondary scoring, and our goaltending, which are our biggest needs. Lyubushkin and Blackwell good pick ups as well.

I just don't get how we don't make a move for a goalie.
