If its a condition based is on a number of wins, it will be specific.

Jack's trade here had making the playoffs a and 6 regular season wins for him as a condition.

I think it muddies the waters for Toronto. The Leafs gave Joseph Woll a 2 year extension with a 1 way in year 2, so they clearly have plans for him to be a back-up at some point. How long does the Kallgren era last and is it a week long experiment or does he give them Binnington vibes?
 
The cost for Fleury would have been significant for us given our cap situation, and I'm not sure if it would have been worth it considering his bipolar nature in the crease. Besides, as others have stated, I don't think he wanted to come here anyway.

Sure, has to be a black and white number I understand. Just seems like these conditional trades keep getting more and more nuanced. Can't recall trades of the sort 10 years ago or so.

Yeah, they have been relatively recent, I think its good though.

It allows for more deals to happen.

Was it the media and his wife. I thought it was fans and his wife? The only media thing with Reimer was Fescuk calling his mother about the rumored concussion.
 
League waiver process is what it is, but does anything prevent another team from informing Dubas they've made a claim on sateri or mrazik before the 2 pm league announcemt?
 
If Kyle's the guy behind the KK deal from the Wild, then he's focused on adding a BACKUP and not a STARTER. And, that means Jack's definitely our guy. Gulp.

Really hoping the Leafs are not the team referenced in the tweet about Kaapo Kahkonen.

Imo he'd leapfrog the guys already in the Leafs system and immediately be the #2

Kaapo Kahkonen is actually a pretty good goaltender. He’s big, athletic and still pretty young. He’s got potential to be a real solid goaltender and his ceiling is probably higher than Campbells. I’d be pretty happy if we got Kahkonen.
