You make moves if they can improve your team now or in the future... seems like a no-brainer to try to get some good value out of him based on the moves happening around the league.

imo he would fetch nearly as much as matthews atm given hes got 0 trade protection + his salary and age and years of control i would imagine thats the biggest reason

I see both sides to this debate just saying it's pretty clear most of the people who are okay with moving Knies are the more analytical fans.

Like I said earlier, This is now not a Brad Treliving thing and for whatever reason they've decided as an organization moving Knies is the right move.
