Leafs Latest just reposts stuff from actual insiders, so it’s legit that way. But I think that’s clearly an AI generated image they got from somewhere or it’s a fake version of the actual page.Is this source trustworthy?

That account just reposts stuff and it was taken from an unknown source with zero other sources. They also deleted the tweet already.
First, why the Leafs would plaster this everywhere in an empty arena at ~11am is beyond me, then there are signs that there's some shoddy editing with the background TVs. I'm not an editor or graphic designer though.
Either way, we'll see I guess.
Someone posted above. It’s a legit photo. That picture is undoubtedly fake, but the idea itself is hardly far-fetched.
Didn’t we just see how little value goalies have? Wouldn’t Hildeby’s value be somewhere between Woll and Silovs?
I don't get where all this 'poor play' is coming from. He had a down year, just like pretty much the whole team did. They missed the playoffs and finished as a bottom 10 team. What did he do the two seasons before that? Oh yeah — he won back-to-back Stanley Cups. He's a good goalie we could add without losing any assets, which we don’t really have anyway. I'm just not signing him at $6M x 6 though.Do you want him playing a lot if the results are poor though ?
But that doesn't make sense.I wholeheartedly agree that depth wins but they are nowhere close to winning. Picking up Wright+7+future 1st for Knies goes further towards building depth than keeping Knies does.
No incentive for St. Louis to do that! This isn't a rumor, just purely for discussion, but would fans be okay with a Knies for Thomas 1 for 1 trade? Knies is 23, 5 years on his deal left @ 7.75m, Thomas is 26 with 4 years on his deal at 8.1m.
I know alot of people are saying if Knies is going to be traded it should be for a d-man, but I think having a 3 headed beast down the middle of the ice is just as important.
Yes - the mediocre 7OA. The mediocre future 1st. Basically nothing assets.
Probably not, but that wasn't really the point of the question, just curious to see if fans would be okay trading a mid teir 1st line winger / good 2nd line winger for a 2C in a hockey trade, other then trying to trade him for a D-man.No incentive for St. Louis to do that!
If you go watch Kypers segment on the recent Shannon and MIllard podcast.
Shannon threw out the idea that Matthews and his camp weren't thrilled about Chayka saying he knew the family to some extent.
I mean, to this point, they've done quite a bit to appease him, so the idea thing that's still out there is interesting.
It seems like Seattle just set the market for Wright with the Samoskevich trade. Roughly the same age, around the same points, both 1st round picks. Wright has a bit more draft pedigree and a few more points so probably gets a small add.
My guess is the Leafs could get him for Colorado 1st 27, Seattle 2nd 27, and a small plus (Maccelli if the Leafs aren't going to qualify him. Seattle seems to love their middle 6 players.)
Wright is intriguing but I think that's a little much for him with what he's shown. I wouldn't even call it a quality for quantity trade since Wright really hasn't shown much quality yet.

St.Louis is never doing Thomas straight up for Knies. You would need to add A LOT for them to be interested. This isn't a rumor, just purely for discussion, but would fans be okay with a Knies for Thomas 1 for 1 trade?
