Sure. Sorry about that.

allegedly the Leafs are trying to sign at least one of Bozak, Neal and Gudbranson to a PTO.

personally not really interested in Neal. But the other two I could see some value
No worries, thanks.

Actually the more I think about it, the more I kinda like a bargain priced Tyler Bozak slotting in at 3c.

- pushes kerfoot to LW
- still capable of 30-40 points
- can pk
- solid defensively

I can see the argument if he’d come super cheap. It does however make the logjam up front even worse lol

Just what we needed, the return of the useless Bozak to enrage the Bozak haters !!!

I think there’s interest.

Management said last season both Keefe and Dubas have mutual interest in adding a bottom six RH centre. Main reason Nash was acquired. Spezza isn’t a C anymore but can pinch hit for draws.

The current plan seems to be Kampf pushing Kerfoot to LW, but he’s not offensively capable enough to be on a 3rd line. Bozak would be decent insurance in that role.

Was a good soldier and would fit seamlessly into the room. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he came back.

you’d have to think he’s looking to get a deal done soon so he can play this year, and he likely realizes the money is going to be modest no matter where he goes, so why not somewhere you’ve been before, where you know a lot of the guys well and the talent exists to potentially go deep. I also wonder if there’s an element of unfinished business that could be alluring

Subban's a shadow of his former self. Any team looking to him as an offensive contributor would be making a mistake. As a lower pairing guy, maybe he'd still be useful but is he the personality type to accept a lesser (sheltered) role? I could easily see him here in the 2022-23 season on a league min deal if he's got the right mindset.

Bozak being 3C is not a bad idea. Won’t mind having another Cup Winner on the team.

Bozak at league minimum would be a good acquisition.

I think Subban would be willing to play a lesser role, for less money at this point. Hometown, decent team, he'll have made $80 mil in his career, so he should be set... just winning a cup, and playing for the hometown team left. Third pairing, vet mentor, second PP time... I can see it next year. He'd be a great ambassador for the team too.

No chance Domi would do that...

Bozak at league min and I'm very interested. Still a capable player.

I always had a soft spot for him. He's home grown as he gets.
He's a good 3rd liner, always been. The problem is we been searching for a first line center that he took over that role

I wouldn't mind him on the 3rd line C but man how many players we are going to sign for bottom 6 which is already jam packed

Bozak on a league minimum deal or near minimum makes so much sense it’s not funny. It would actually be a perfect fit….

Big no to Domi or PK though. They don’t move the ball forward for us and it complicates an already complex cap situation, where a Rielly resolution needs to be the priority.

I do think he would fit as well. A capable player that can give you decent secondary offence. The thing is... is he better than our current depth that need some icetime and is he willing to take a league min contract? Kind of weird he's still unsigned.

personally I don’t see it at league min, but it’d obviously have to come in cheap. Like maybe around a mil.

i do agree its strange he is still available

Be full circle if we got Bozak.
I always remember saying when he was 1C
"If we built a team that had Bozak on the 3rd line, we'd win"
Not sure if he has enough in the tank to be the solid draw taking, 3C worker or not. But hey, if it's cheap...

I like the idea of Bozie back to play 3C, but we just have so many bottom 6 players now. We'd have to move some bodies out.

Leafs are looking at bringing in Bozak, Gudbranson, Neal on a PTO.

No source given, likely just throwing shit at a wall.

But all three would make sense on a PTO... if they are better than someone else, they might get to play, if not... next.

On Bargain contracts, you could make an argument for all three really.
