it'll have to be a 2nd.
a 4th wont cut it. arizona has the leverage, not toronto.
Are you suggesting Toronto needs to pay to dump Kerfoot?

It's called taxes man.Comparing the Marner deal to aggregate Point deals makes my blood boil! Marner gets to go back for more too..fk off

Feels like a pitch someone like Hall should have/would have jumped at last year.Sounds like he's begging a ufa to choose us....but I like the approach.
If Saad isn't being offered what he wants...one year on our top lines might help him get more money next year.
What does greed have to do with this? What taxes? Like the $10 million Bobrovsky took from the Florida Panthers? Greed is greed.

yes. arizona and the rest of the league knows leafs need cap space to add good players, so the asking price to take his contract will be high.
lol… ya no
Unfortunately, Hamilton didn't want to sign with you, so now your team just sucks, just as it likely has since whatever mysterious move you made to clear so much cap space.I had an extremely strong inclination. Luckily I had more than enough cap space.
Yea hoping Mikheyev has a bounce back year. I like the addition off gabriel even though he might not be incredibly skilled. Wouldn't mind Ritchie too... maybe Engvall and Mikheyev would grow a couple inches wirh these guys on the team.I don't know why the Leafs are even entertaining the idea of trading Mikheyev. A 6'5" skating machine. He's only 1.6M and we need more speed/quality on the wings. Dude couldn't score but... We've seen what happens to guys like Grabner, Duclair, etc They just explode offensively.
I understand Kerfoot due to his salary and questionable offensive upside, and Dermott since we have some younger/cheaper alternatives.
Given the prices today I'd say he's worth more than the Aav owing and MUCH more than the actual dollarsyou honestly think someone out there wants kerfoot? lol dream on.
This is one of the most uninformed posts of the year.yes. arizona and the rest of the league knows leafs need cap space to add good players, so the asking price to take his contract will be high.

Seattle did until McCann was exposed too.you honestly think someone out there wants kerfoot? lol dream on.
Hmm a middle 6 player who can play centre and wing, and play all over the lineup. He is also signed for a cheap 3.5 million over 2 years. Yeah there will be a market.you honestly think someone out there wants kerfoot? lol dream on.
Seems like an overpayment for Meier but admittedly I don’t know how he’s progressedWonder if we can get the Sharks to do
Lilijgren + 2022 1st + Kerfoot for Timo Meier@5M
We get Meier for 5M for 2 years. Basically if the team delivers and performs we have cap issues down the line in 2 years and need to make a decision
If we bounce in the first round again things get easier and we deal marner or Nylander and have space to keep Meier long term
He's a big bodied winger with good production history and mostly productive at EVS.
I think they might ask for Amirov instead of Lilijgren which I'd still consider doing
Man Colorado was put into a corner on that Kuemper trade .. That's a big price.
Coyotes have had a good offseason to rebuild.
I'd be really interested to know the prices on some other goalies that may not be as highly regarded as last year. Gorgiev, Bishop type guys.Man Colorado was put into a corner on that Kuemper trade .. That's a big price.
