i read that Erik Brannstrom being included in the trade is a hold up for a trade to Ottawa. unsure if that means they dont want to add him or we dont want him.

If those two teams are the front runners, you have to hope that it means that Guerin has it centered around two main peices of similar value, and is seeing what else he can get. Namely, you’re talking about Holtz+ Vs 7OA+. That’s the hope. Maybe there’s nothing close to that in value.

The way that fans are treating Fiala, you'd think he was Devin Setoguchi and that he was gifted those 85 points.

Also wished that Guerin didn't say anything about Fiala. Just said, he had a good season, still needs some work and that we'll see about the offseason. Just non-committal instead of blasting Fiala.

Also Austin Watson is a name to look out for; he played for Evason when he coached the Admirals. 30 year old LW. Seems like someone that Guerin would like.

But remember Fiala only had three good months and he didn't fit the team's chemistry, We brought back guys that we're familiar with and that will play hard for Minnesota. Watson played for Evason and Evason vouched for him when brought up in the trade offer. He's a good player, tough player. Del Zotto is a good defenseman and will fit well with what we have constructed here in Minnesota. Good locker room guy. I think we won this trade with what we brought in. We're going to have a good season, probably a better season than last."

i agree. ill listen to someone who can text the person directly and get an answer. they just baited me well and make me want to have a listen to see if he did indeed misspeak on it.

I'm betting they keep him for our annual first round exit and let him walk for nothing. What's more, Guerin will make it sound like it's the obvious thing to do.
