I would have been down on Gostisbehere for a 2026 3rd

Really surprised nobody beat that. He's actually been good for the Coyotes pretty much since he got there.

I guess it's further indication that GM's really value size and physicality more than anything else going into the playoffs.

I was pretty shocked at that price. He would have been a great fit since only 2 of our 6 starters are good at generating offense.

I guess Armstrong overplayed his hand and waited too long? That's a pretty disappointing return for a top pair defenseman at a great AAV for two more years. Especially with Hronek going for a 1st and a 2nd right before that.

Sooooo many early trades this year. The deadline day itself might be pretty tame.

I would’ve traded a 1st + Addison for Chycrun, but that would’ve been about it. You can debate whether that’s a better return than what they got or not. Either way, I’d have thought they’d get more.

I would’ve paid way more. What do we need ROR, Hunt, Peart, and Lambos for if we have Chychrun?

I would not have traded any of our C’s, and maybe not Yurov, but Ohgren, Beckman….. all day long.

It seems like the big thing with ARI was not taking any money at all back. Should be no surprise, but their fans kept insisting that anyone who questioned ARI’s owners financial competence were misinformed. We could’ve traded for him and moved Greenway, separately, I think, it this is where Guerin signing Goligoski has really come back to bite us.

I would like the chanc3s of this team going into the playoffs in a weak West with Chychrun added to it, and no substantial losses.

To play when Chychrun is on IR.

What do we need all of them for without Chycrun?
We don’t but we need to use the next 2-4 years to figure which ones are worth keeping. I don’t have a clue who will be the best NHL’er, as of now.

I’d say Guerin is done , he’s not betting any part of the future on this current team being able to compete in a 7 game series and that’s about the only thing I agree with him on

I wish they would at least think of trading Reaves or Merrill

He’s got half the idiots who cheer for him in this state thinking he’s “going for it” and “all in to win” , trading roster players for picks would kind of torpedo that ridiculous argument. Read some of the Facebook commentary on the wild and there’s actually fans who think that Marjo is the missing piece this year and we’re going on a long run finally lol
