1) Why are we bringing him back
2) How is he worth a 3rd

I am not sure why the Wild are not interested in Domi, it is a position of need and only needed for a couple months. I get Guerin doesnt like him but based on production from him this season and desperate need for a center I dont see why they wouldnt just take a chance on him for a couple months

Because he is bad at playing C. Doesn’t play D. No physicality, although can fight. If he’s cheap, I get it, a little bit. I used to really like him in his draft year, and his weaknesses hadn’t been exposed.

Would be a poor choice for any line that is expected to play any defense, but he has been decent on FO’S this year, and might do good things between Kap and Zucc( Evason’s head would explode) or with Boldy, with Gaudreau taking care of defensive duties.

Damn, talked myself into it. The upside of getting him is that it prevents Guerin from doing anything that might be damaging in the long term. Would CHI do Greenway for Domi?

There's something that feels cosmically inevitable about Guerin mostly avoiding big acquisitions or giving up futures, and then sending out a 1st + prospects for JVR, Hayes and Johansson. Like I read this post and I can hear the Gears of the Universe clinking into place.
