Team shouldn't be buying anyway, so if they wanna bring up Rossi to see how he looks again as their big deadline acquisition, that's fine with me
Short of trading away a 1st rounder or top prospects, they absolutely should be buyers if the price is right and the player can fill a need.

The West is wide open.

Im not convinced that a deal of consequence will happen, but i am convinced that Guerin is trying.

Wild don't have a 3rd this year. I'd be pretty bummed if they trade their 2nd without making some move to get another pick in the top 3 rounds.

I don't even think I'd be all that upset. He's definitely more of an even strength guy than a PP guy too.

TSN has the top remaining forwards as Kane, Lafferty, JVR, Boeser and Puljujarvi. Not sure any of those are good/realistic options for us.

Holy crap, I'm so glad we didn't get Jeannot after seeing that price.

Nashville getting more for Jeannot than we got for Fiala lol

Tampa seems to significantly overpay for mid-range players.

At least they're in a spot where it almost makes sense to do so. They're pretty much going for broke every year until their core falls apart.

Also in regards to Fiala, looking at the Meier return just makes it more depressing. We got the 1st+Mukhmadullin part.

Yeah I suppose, but they’re really getting to a point where they should probably start rebuilding their prospect pool. Not going to be easy to do when they don’t have a 1st rd pick until 2026. Nashville could end up getting a decent pick in 2025 if Tampa regresses over the next couple seasons.

I'd take a 2025 1st + 2024 2nd for Foligno and 2024 2nd + 2023 3rd for Greenway right now.

Call up Walker and Beckman.

Kap - Hart - Zucc
Boldy - Ek - Walker
Beckman - Gaudreau - Duhaime
4th line
I’d do a backflip if that happened

I would trade over half the f***ing wilds roster for any three of the six assets than tannner jeanott brought on that trade. Hell most of this team should be available for just a 4th and 5th.

I agree, but with the disclaimer that I would have agreed with you saying that about Jeannott yesterday morning.
Difference is Jeannott hasn't been being shopped for multiple years and having other GMs know exactly what is going on. Rock and a hard place with Dumba.
