Is this that player card thing again? If so, he's said that isn't "actual market value" in his model explanation.Dom from Athletic has his market value as 3.8M

Fully agree.. this team needs a competent center for KapI really just don't see the point in trading for any bottom pairing defensemen, regardless. We've already got four of them and Dean refuses to play one of them. What's the point in trading anything, let alone a 2nd round pick, for another one? I promise Schenn in the lineup over Addison isn't gonna be the difference in the playoffs.

There are repeated rumblings linking Brock Boeser and Minnesota, but the math doesn’t make sense as things stand.
Just ruined it. Expecting it because it makes no sense makes sense, so now it won't happen.
MoneyPuck gives the Wild a 78.9% chance of making the playoffs. I personally see Colorado passing us within the next week or two, That puts the Wild in the #1 Wild Card spot, From there I can see any of Edmonton, Calgary, and Nashville passing us, but two of them would need to for the Wild to miss. There's certainly a decent chance of that happening, but I think MoneyPuck's odds are fairly decent when you consider the likelihood of it. It's possible, but not overwhelmingly so. I wouldn't be shocked either way.I'm wondering if we even make the playoffs. Pac could land 5 teams for a change and thr as are on our heals.
Not sure LA or Vegas should get an automatic bid at this point. LA is behind MN in points percentage, they've just played 5 more games. Similarly Vegas is just barely ahead of the Wild in percentage and lost Stone for the rest of the season.MoneyPuck gives the Wild a 78.9% chance of making the playoffs. The way it looks today, the Wild make the playoffs if they're in the top 3 of these teams: Colorado, Minnesota, Calgary, Edmonton, Nashville, I think that's doable, even for this weaker version of the Wild.
Nothing's set in stone, yeah, but if Vegas or LA drop to Wild Cardish spots, then you swap their names with Edmonton and Calgary who would move up, and the geometry is the same. But you're right, I wouldn't consider anyone in the West to be a lock yet. It's wide open this year. Not sure LA or Vegas should get an automatic bid at this point. I don't think anyone in the West has really cleared themselves to the point of being considered totally safe like Boston and Carolina have, but if we consider SEA, DAL, and WPG as safe that leaves 7 teams fighting for 5 spots. It's rumored NSH is shopping some core pieces if they don't pick up ground before the deadline. Could be down to 6 teams for 5 spots. From there the teams are close enough it probably just comes down to who can't stay healthy.
Enjoy the season © Mike TiceIf Kaprizov isn’t willing to sign an extension, making him one of the 5 highest paid players in the league, the summer before the last year on his contract, you trade him. Pretty simple for me. Kickstart the rebuild, finally.
Probably not, but if he continues to frustrate the team with penalties, I probably can't completely cross it off.Rangers fan here, is the Wild moving Ryan Hartman at the deadline? Rangers can use some skill with nasty for the playoffs.
Jones and 1st in 24 top 10 protected for Ryan Hartman?
We really don’t need more D prospects. We’ve got, Faber, Spacek, Peart, ROR, Hunt, Lambos, SJo, Healey, Masters. Would rather have the equivalent to Jones in either a pick, or forward prospect, form. Then I’d definitely do it.Rangers fan here, is the Wild moving Ryan Hartman at the deadline? Rangers can use some skill with nasty for the playoffs.

You and I had the same thought with Walker, though I want Ek centering that line.Very easy deal to make if there is no interest in putting Hartman back where he was last year between Kaprizov and Zuccarello. Bring Walker up to play with Boldy and Gaudreau to keep the checking lines together, nothing of value is really lost. Jones would be fine as a league min 7D next year, helps with the cap.
Not good enough to be buyers.Thoughts on a 2nd round pick for Toews or JVR?
Wouldn’t hate it. Wouldn’t love itThoughts on a 2nd round pick for Toews or JVR?
I agree, but I think Guerin is going to do something to help a playoff push. Not good enough to be buyers.
I wonder if Toews would sign for a cheap 2-3 year deal like Staal did. He’s winning 60%+ of his faceoffs and I think that’s important in the playoffs.Wouldn’t hate it. Wouldn’t love it

Meh. I think Toews is going to end up like Giroux like deal.Thoughts on a 2nd round pick for Toews or JVR?
