Not saying he isn't... but he's been less of a liability, especially lately. There’s no reality that says Hartman is a fringe NHLer without also accepting that Steel is not an NHL player.

What’s the right price?Would anyone in here have an interest in Toews at right price?
JMO, but if Chicago wants to get out or move on from Toews/Kane they need to realize they are not going to get a favorable deal, no one is going to pay that high for a rental and I don't think many are willing to take on those contracts at this point in their careers. Chicago will end up eating a lot on this deal in order to move them. What’s the right price?
They're not going to offer him 'at the right price' though. They're going to want more than the Wild should be willing to give for him. I'm not saying he's not still a decent player. He's had a bit of a bounce back year. Could end up with 25+ goals and 56-60 points. But, someone looking for a playoff center will overpay for him and it isn't and shouldn't be the Wild. So, no. No interest.Would anyone in here have an interest in Toews at right price?
Name a team in the West other than Colorado youd be scared to play in playoffs this year??They're not going to offer him 'at the right price' though. Not one word of that response changes anything I posted. And, while other teams in the West may not be impressive either, wasting anything of significance at some mediocre shot this year is flat out foolish and short sighted. Until they get longer term, better and quality center depth, the Wild are still, no matter how you want to spin the competition, a first round exit team.Name a team in the West other than Colorado youd be scared to play in playoffs this year??

my guess would he would probably have other teams hed prefer maybe like a Colorado, but i dont think hed hate playing with Kaprizov and ZuccarelloWould Toews have interest in MN?
ROR is my guess for the guy we go after
I don’t see us doing a deal with them. Too close for comfort. Chicago is a different storyROR is my guess for the guy we go after
Hoping for Rossi. If he can mesh with Kap and Zucc and Eriksson Ek can mesh with Boldy, then I feel pretty good about our top 6.The reality is without trading one of Boldy/Zuccarello/Spurgeon/Brodin or a combination of them, Minnesota isn't going to get a top line center to play with Kaprizov until the cap penalties are over. Get used to guys like Rask, Hartman and Steel playing with Kaprizov.
Tall order from Evason.Hoping for Rossi. If he can mesh with Kap and Zucc and Eriksson Ek can mesh with Boldy, then I feel pretty good about our top 6.
Kap-Rossi-Zucc
Boldy-Eriksson Ek-Walker

Whenever Rossi gets another chance. I think they are content running Steel-Gaudreau-Ek-Dewar at the moment. Are you talking about this year or the next? Because I don't see Rossi getting a chance like that this season.
Written by a coach, is he correct?Whenever Rossi gets another chance. I think they are content running Steel-Gaudreau-Ek-Dewar at the moment.
Where was that said?Written by a coach, is he correct?
"Rossi isn't physically ready to take on the NHL yet and he might never be. He has almost everything else, but if you are intimidated by playing against bigger men, you won't do much in this league."
The Athletic, comment section. Says he's played and coached for many yrs in the minor leagues.Where was that said?

The reason I picked up that comment is that he may have a point. If Rossi has success in the minors, but fails in the NHL, he won't be the first one. As you know, two very different leagues.
