What other teams have Goalie issues and could possibly claim Dell of waivers? They are not the only team to worry about, but that would help.

Wow. There must be some serious concerns with him then.Hoffman gets a PTO from the Blues.
That's just shocking.

That makes sense then.Word is they have pretty much agreed to an actual contract but won't sign him officially until they can put Steen and Tarasenko on the LTIR.
Last season Hoffman had 4 goals, 1 assists in 3 games against Toronto. At least he is out of our division.

That’s what I was sorta of eluding too. It may still be an issue.Does everyone forget what drove him out of Ottawa? The guy is a locker room cancer
Soderberg getting $1 mill and Haula getting $1.75 mill for 1 year each are nice gambles.
I realize they were probably holding out for better offers but those wouldn't have been bad depth options for the Leafs.
Oh well.
Does Coburn's $1.7 million AAV and Paquette's $1.65 million AAV help Tampa's salary cap with them now playing for Ottawa?Ottawa made another trade:
Coburn, Paquette and a 2nd for Gaborik and Nilsson. No idea what Tampa is thinking with this.

Yesterday @stickty111 said watch Jamie McLennan claim on OverDrive how Ottawa's Centre depth was better after they traded for Derek Stepan. So let's see if he now does the same thing for their Defense? Here before people think the Sens have a better d-core than us because they added a couple pylons in Gudbranson and Coburn.
Chicago, Florida, St. Louis. Washington could still decide to claim him too.
Wouldn't be surprised knowing Jamie.Yesterday @stickty111 said watch Jamie McLennan claim on OverDrive how Ottawa's Centre depth was better after they traded for Derek Stepan. So let's see if he now does the same thing for their Defense?
I expect Dermott to be considered top 4 by the end of season.
I would have taken Haula over Vesey + Boyd.
At the same time that means Dubas would have had to sit around and wait until now to sign these players. In terms of risking the org depth I get it. Also those players would have wanted to play here too. Perhaps they were waiting to see what happened with this season before deciding on where to play.
I hope so. Hes getting to the age that he should start showing he can be a stable top four guy, if he's ever getting there.
Hes shown some very promising signs, just need to him to be consistent and capable of taking on more difficult icetime
