What does it even matter, that team is destined for playoff failure and that couldn't have been made more clear Saturday. What a shit brand of hockey they play.

Back to this "rode up", that is garbage. I took a screen grab of the intial contact, and the right hand is right at Grieg's head, any shoulder is from Grieg twisting to minimize the hit. Absolutely aimed at the head.

The only reason he made contact with Ridly’s shoulder is because Ridly reflexively brought up his arm in a failed attempt to block the blow. Rielly was clearly aiming for his head.

The Leafs defended the culture of hockey and have the respect of Ryan “let me warm the bench for you” Reaves. They lost the game, lost the season series, the guy who cares the most on their team is Suspended and they looked like shit all night- and Reaves has headlines about what a good job they did and Keefe thinks the same thing.

Leafs are in trouble. Keefe is putting on weight and it’s literally showing us how soft the Leafs are top to bottom. Leafs are soft - and they know it.

Naw, it was just becoming a bit of a moderation issue with some posters unable keep themselves in line, you know, kind of like how Reilly was a big baby and decided to lose control of his emotions and get himself suspended. Must be a leafs thing, idk....

Ya, that team is absolutely not ready to win playoff battles. Certainly not 4 of them. If I were fans of that team, I'd be planning to have some free time this May/June.

The Leafs and their fans are in an abusive relationship except for the fact that I can't figure out who's the abuser and who's the abused.

I love this, Nice to see a bit of a spark in the dormant rivalry and add some fun to it. I love that Greig did it, I think Reilly was wise to respond but he took the cowards way out and cross checked a guy in the face. If you want to go with the "he broke the code" angle, you drop the gloves and fight. But that's par for the course with that team - they can't respond to anything the right way. Its why they lose. I think they get an incredible boost had he dropped the gloves and fought Greig, no matter the result. But they just bitch and moan about it for days and look like babies. So much talent on that team. Thus far, wasted talent.

We have our own problems though, worse than them if we are being honest. At least they make the playoffs every year. We only win when it doesn't matter anymore. Hopefully guys like Greig and Pinto are pieces that help us get past that.

Yeah, I was just thinking that. What did he do to make me ignore him? I have like 2 other people on ignore. Anyway....it could have been a drunken night of smashing the ignore button, like you said.

I had Achtzenbaby on ignore for some reason I can't remember. Then I complained to the mods that I couldn't see a thread that he started unless I logged out.
