It was nice to see Kings hockey again . Keep it up boys . four out of eight points much better.

Update on Herby's green jacket.

Brown -9
Richards -9
King -7
Muzzin -6

I just can't watch Jeff Schultz anymore. How can Derek Forbort be any worst than this guy? His foot speed is so ****ing bad, the guy is out of position every play.

For your consideration.

Lots of people crapping on AA but I think he looked sharper as the game went on. Didn't get much time but he looked smarter with the puck than your average 4th liner and looked to be anticipating the play better so he was getting to the right spots quicker.

Nolan sucks. Roll with maybe Clifford-Shore-Andreoff and it'll be sharper.

I agree, just don't understand the AA hate. He's a rookie 4th liner folks, what are the expectations exactly?

Jordan Nolan is not good enough to play with us anymore.

He looks checked out. Rarely hits, no brain--he hustles, but to the wrong part of the ice. Still has some latent offensive ability but he just doesn't pay the price anymore. I remember when he used to bull into the corner and try to cut to the net at least. Now, nothing. Guess we know who Sutter was talking about.

Amen.

Thanks for the service Schultz, now gtfo.

I don't think he's been horrible, but he's just 'there'. I'd rather be wasting that playing time on a guy who has a future on this team, one who is just as big but can skate and handle the puck like it's not a flaming poo.

I don't get what you guys have against Schultz. He's the 6th defenseman right now and a stay at home guy, what do you expect? I think he's doing pretty well. Thought he had some nice poke-checks tonight.

I don't think he's been bad at all. Some people just love to hate the guy.

If only. He got 18:08 tonight, good for 4th amongst d-men.

I have a problem with his softness, slowness, bad positioning, and handling the puck like Matt Greene with a wrong handed stick. He constantly gets caught on the wrong side of the attacker's body and the only thing that saves him is a bear-hug pokecheck. He doesn't seal anyone off and doesn't get possession of the puck from the opposing team. He's just there. If he's been played 6th-man minutes, give those minutes to Forbort and let him develop. Schultz isn't (god I hope) in the long-term plans.

Edit: He got 16:15 sat night, good for 5th. 16:26 vs the rangers, good for 4th. More than Greene, fine...more than anyone else? Kill me.

Not horrible, but not even neutral fill in at this point, just does not play hard enough.
I'll gladly take McBain for the next few games if nothing else.

That's my issue. If you're going to give Schultz minutes, why not give it to someone like Forbort? He's obviously got a future with us, whereas Schultz doesn't. The guy was on the 1st PK unit with Doughty, couldn't even clear a puck properly. I dunno, then the clearance for delay of game penalty. Like the guy has 0 foot speed, especially in today's day & age, your Dman has to be able to move. Regehr and Greene make up for their speed with physicality and great positioning. Schultz doesn't have either of those.

I thought McBain was fine when he played , the guy sure is good on the PP.

McNabb had seven hits tonight, wow.
