Campbell is way better than any current leafs goalie and makes 300k more than Murray.Lol, Edmonton signed Jack Campbell for $25 million. Glass houses….stones. Yeah.

You went into a season relying on Matt Murray to be your starter. Matt Murray who has been injury riddled for years and was on waivers last year. They didn't go into the season with Kallgren, he's their #4. Unfortunately, 2 of their goalies are injured.

I saw the 3rd period and Ducks started smelling blood and really gave it to them. When they tied the game, Leafs were completely deflated. it was a one-way affair from then on.Didn’t the Ducks outplay the Leafs for large portions of this game?
Call the Leafs 5th string goalie up.
Kallgren lost to SJ, Anaheim & Arizona and didn't put .900 goaltending up against any of those offensively-challenged teams.
1.) Samsonov
2.) Murray - Injured
3.) Woll - Injured
4.) Kallgren - can't put up a .900 against bottom feeders
5.) ?
Campbell f***ing sucks!Campbell is way better than any current leafs goalie and makes 300k more than Murray.
About the bolded: Let's be fair.Whether or not Tavares has played like an $11,000,000 player is irrelevant.
What is relevant is that they already had two other forwards making $11,000,000, and therefore another $11,000,000 forward wasn't a very smart way to construct a roster.
Fine. We’ll give you Koskinen’s number.
If only they could play in the pacific and waltz their way to the cup finals. One thing for certain- We've maybe gained some respect from Cali teams!
So they traded for Murray to make 4.7 million to be their backup? At worst those guys were going to split starts. Either way it was a horrible decision and a massive downgrade in the season leading up to Matthews extension talks. No they didn't.
They signed Samsonov who started more games than Matt Murray last year.
They have too much talent for this to be prolonged so is this a case of Keefe "losing the room" or something?
I'm no Leafs fan but this current stretch is bizarre.

A better one than any goalie in the Leafs organization currently.Campbell f***ing sucks!
I will be the first to admit the Toronto is goaltending is terrible, but Jack Campbell is a career back up at best.
Call me when Samsonov gives you a .915 and a winning record over 45+ games. He’s never done it in the nhl. It's not a massive downgrade?
Samsonov is outplaying Campbell
Mrazek is injured, Murray is injured - so it's a wash.
Where's the downgrade?

About the bolded: Let's be fair.
Tavares was signed in July 2018.
Matthews received that extension in February 2019.
Marner was signed to that contract in September 2019.
So the Leafs did not have two other forwards making $11M.
And now I will go and wash the finger that typed this...
Objective doesn’t necessarily mean validIt was taken just now. Check yourself.
What do you see?
I'm posting the objective numbers. I don't run MoneyPuck. Take it up with the stats sites.

You really gonna be that guy. Sorry make it .914 like that changes the pointNeither has Campbell. So where is the downgrade?
