We need a defensive D-man, Karlsson is a better version of Rielly. Ideally we need a guy like Slavin/Toews to push us over the top. I doubt a guy like that is even available but Karlsson doesn't really address the need for us, he is an interesting RD option though as his numbers look phenomenal this year.

Should be a very easy win for the Leafs tonight catching the Flyers on the second game of back to back and last night went to OT. Flyers are starting Sandstrom a backup goalie who hasn't won a game in the NHL yet. Sounds like a Matthews hat trick in coming to me. Fans will start planning the parade route.

Hey Leafs just beat Boston and Carolina back to back, beat the Canes with Kallgren in net and dominated Boston pretty badly, what were your thoughts on those two games ?

Ottawa has been missing Talbot, Zub and Norris.

Toronto has been missing both starting goaltenders and Muzzin.

We all have injuries.

Norris is a big loss, too.

And he played in more than twice the games the players we are missing played in combined. Crazy. It's almost like the Wings are preforming better than they should be with having some of their top half forwards out.

The gap between Zub and the next best RD on our team is so massive, he literally is the most irreplaceable guy on the team.

We have decent depth in other areas, even with last season's #1C out.

Yes, I am sure the Leafs are eager to trade for an albatross contract because he has had 10 good games between years of mediocre play and injuries.
