I don't know about 60K in the skydome, but I know that when they signed Joe Theismann and Leon McQuade (70's) that preseason games at Exhibition Stadium were sellouts. But, yeah, that's ancient history.

There is a video going around on Facebook of 2 Argonauts players getting into a physical altercation with a ticats fan. With punches being thrown by on player and a shove from another one.

There was a lot more going on in that area. Ticats fans, proving they are as classy as they've ever been, were throwing shit at Argos players, were dousing them with beer and god knows what else from the 200 level, etc. Ticats fans were also starting fights, including with other Ticats fans until they realized they were fighting their own side! I was in the crowd where this was happening and witnessed four fights started by Ticats fans (one of which was between Ticats fans, and that one happened within ten feet of me), the players being doused with beer, etc.

While I do not condone players fighting fans, snippets of video only show a small part of what was going on in that area. I was there, I saw it first hand.

Were you there? Do you know what actually happened? Maybe you should reserve judgement until you have a better idea what went on. Everyone had their phones out, so it was all caught on video. What I am wondering is if it will all be shown, or if it will be selectively edited to hide the actions of Ticat fans.

And like I said, I was there and watched Hamilton fans throw all kinds of shit at Argos players. This continued for a while after what is shown in the video and it happened right in front of me - like within 30 feet of me. I know what Hamilton fans were doing, you don't.

No, that is on video. I saw the stuff that happened just past the altercation in that video.

Someone posted this on Reddit in response to a question about security and it is accurate:
"Poorly prepared and equipped. These two teams haven't played a playoff game since 2013 and that was back at the Rogers Centre. That side of the field was virtually Tim Hortons Field-Toronto and having the Argos have to walk through that area on their way to the locker room; either it was bad on the security because they didn't see that and try to adjust things or they should watch who's buying tickets from where and act accordingly before hand."

No matter what happened prior there is no excuse for the players to enter the concourse and engage with fans.
The Argos are looking at some long suspensions next season and some fines.
