Confirmed Trade: [TOR/STL/MIN] O'Reilly, Acciari, Pillar to TOR; Abramov, Gaudette, ‘23 1st, ‘23 3rd, ‘24 2nd to STL; ‘25 4th to MIN

I'm not watching the Habs-Leafs game tonight but I saw on daily faceoff that RoR is at C and they've moved JT to wing. Is that true, I know this has been discussed with JT's declining footspeed.

when we do (this year) it's gonna make last summer's Auston is not a 50 goal/he's only a 70 point player oops he scored sixty/won the pearson/hart look like child's play. Can't wait..

go find Tavares ufa threads and reconsider. Some of those posters never recovered credibility. Go look at that draft lottery face again..hes coming home

And I said Tavares would go to Toronto as well.

No that's not what I said or implied. You need depth at your center to make a serious run this gives them a bona-fide number 1 center who can slot anywhere in the lineup or if Matthew or Tavares get hurt or whatever the team needs he definitely gives them great options and other teams will be hard trying to defend because of having 3 number 1 centers.
Toronto now legitimately has three, #1 centers.

Looking at Toronto they have tons of skill and depth hopefully there past experiences has taught them a good lesson.

I like this move it gives them a legitimate number 1 center and most teams that make it to the final have 4 complete lines and depth at center 👌

They have 3 #1 centers now, or at worst 2 #1 centers and an elite #2

Now how gambino family type of ish is that .............. acciari & O'Reilly both play tonight already baby. They G's. Winners, for life. Our whole room will change. Down middle, no team in the world wants to face us anymore. That that sundin neauwendyk reichel perrault dirt. Period.
Why is there no dislike option? Or is this supposed to be satire?

another centre isnt what I thought toronto needs but I dont really have any specific solution to the roster problem
Toronto's problems most years is that their best players haven't been their best players.

Last year, Matthews and Marner did legitimately play well, but Tampa just egded them out. Adding extra scoring with O'Reilly could help Toronto tip the scales.

Yeah, so folks who were claiming that he couldn't skate anymore were out to lunch. He's moving around just fine.
Yup. He’s most definitely still the studly version of himself. He’s buzzin

Yes, ROR is centering the second line with Marner and Tavres on the wings. For tonight anyway. ROR's point cam on an assist on a Bunting goal.

Best trade the leafs have made past few years needed a true hockey guy with a missing tooth on the team
Also doesn’t hurt to have one of the NHL's best center defensive pivots, who does a lot of the little things that help win games.

O’Reilly is also one of the best faceoff men in the NHL as well and boosts Toronto’s penalty kill.
