I mean, they could trade 5 1sts for Puljujarvi and you can apply this same logic for why it's a fine move.

They likely overpaid in value for these two, but all that matters is whether they win. Whether this deal is a success or failure depends entirely on whether the Leafs win in the playoffs, and I don't think just winning a round would cut it.

Almost the whole Blues team is in the negatives. Including guys like Schenn and Kyrou. Calle Rosen leads the team in that category.
